Organic green coffee beans - Arabica Brazil Santos

Brazil is the largest coffee producer worldwide (share 35%). Coffee is grown there at altitudes between 600 and 1200 m. Our Brasil Santos BIO comes from controlled organic cultivation in accordance with EU Regulation (EC no. 834/2007).

Next to a few Fazenda coffees, Santos is one of the best coffees of Brazil. Santos is by the way the name of the harbour where the coffee is loaded and shiped to Europe. The coffee comes from the coffee growing region Guaxupe in the state of Minas Gerais. Most of it is the Arabica species Typica (NY2 / 3, 15/16, fine cup).

Taste profile:

slightly sweet, spicy, medium to full body, overall very balanced
A low acidity coffee - ideal for breakfast

Recommendation for roasting:

City Roast, also great to add to espresso blends.
