Robusta (Coffea canephora) is after Arabica the second most important type of coffee in the world. It is more resistant and more productive than Arabica, as its name suggests. Robusta coffee beans have much more caffeine than Arabica beans and contain more acid. The coffee tastes strong, less aromatic, sometimes slightly bitter.
