The mountainous landscape of Tanzania and the predominantly tropical, temperate climate in the altitudes offer the ideal conditions for coffee cultivation. About 75% of Tanzanians work in the coffee sector. This Arabica coffee comes from the valley-side region of Mbeya, which lies at an altitude of about 1600 - 1900m. Highest mountain of this region is the Mount Mbeya with 2818m.

This coffee corresponds to the very good AB quality - washed and comes from the varieties Typica and Bourbon.

Taste profile:

A typical African coffee, very rich in aroma, medium-bodied with medium acidity, berry aromas, chocolate-spicy taste with a slightly nutty finish.
