Java is an important part of the cultural history of coffee. The first coffee harvested on Java was sold in Amsterdam in 1712. And also today this main Indonesian island offers an excellent coffee with rich body, mild aroma and earthy-sweet flavour. Kayumas belongs to the best coffee growing regions worldwide. The coffee beans which are harvested here have a unique character due to their light tobacco notes. Especially in dark roastings Java Kayumas develops a strong flavour that reminds mocha coffee. This coffee is a perfect addition to all kind of blends.

This coffee is washed and sun-dried Grade 1 quality of the Arabica species Typica.
