Peru is a very small coffee producer. Organic coffee is grown on most plantations. Above all, the Arabica subspecies Bourbon, Caturra and Typica are cultivated. Coffee is grown almost exclusively on small plantations in the forest (about 90-98%). Connoisseurs love the Peruvian beans, because they are varied, wholesome and aromatic. Partly velvety-chocolaty, partly very spicy and with rather heavy, herbaceous-earthy notes. Lovers of strong coffee come here at their expense.
This organic coffee comes from the Urubamba region. It corresponds to the highest quality "Grade 1". This is a washed coffee.
Taste profile:
A coffee with medium acidity and slight nut and chocolate undertones. In the finish a little sweet - overall rather strong.

City Roast (end of first crack)
